Important Update
August 2022
Dear Fieldtrip Friends,
This year’s STGS fieldtrip to Big Bend Ranch State Park has been cancelled for the rest of the 2022 field season.
From immune-dodging variants of Covid-19, to record-breaking heat, soaring prices, droughts, wildfires, and now monkeypox — 2022 has been a handful.
Too many unpredictable variables have piled up for the trip to remain safe, affordable, or fun this year. And ultimately your safety and the impact we have on the communities & ecosystems we visit just aren’t negotiable at Flsci (neither is the fun:D).
If you’re currently registered – You'll be fully refunded for your trip fare, including taxes + fees.
All refunds have been issued & you should have received an email receipt by now. If you haven't received that email, or you have any other questions, please get in touch with us at hello@freelancesci.com.
A big thank you to everyone at the STGS and Texas Parks & Wildlife – and to our Trip Leaders and partners at GoBigBend.
We’ll see you in 2023!
